Beverly Parker is a member of the Appalachian Trail Class of 2020.
One of her favorite presentations, “Lessons from the Wild” draws on the valuable life lessons she learned on the trail and how to apply them to workplace experiences.
Learning objectives :
- ways to utilize expectations of a goal,
- recovering from disappointment, and
- keys to maximize endurance, accomplishment, and continuous growth.
These themes of disappointment, endurance, and revival were crucial to completing the hike down the Appalachian Trail, and have forever impacted the way to approach ones career and life in general.
