Dispelling Five Myths of Disability in the Workplace

This presentation is to take the fear and mystery out of dealing with employees with disabilities.

Learning Objectives:

• Participants will be able to identify 5 myths around disabilities and the workplace. 
• Participants will be able to list examples of reasonable accommodations.
• Participants will be able to list the benefits of hiring and supporting employees with autism.

Betsy Furler is the founder of For All Abilities. She is passionate about optimizing the strengths of all people and ensuring that all people are valued for their strengths and their differences. She earned a BA from Austin College and a MS in Communication Disorders from UTDallas.
